PN: Parent Network A USMC initiative for involving parents and extended family members of our Marines in the deployment process, preparation and communications.
KVN: Key Volunteer Network
A USMC inititiative for involving spouses of Marines in the deployment process, preparation and communications.
FRO: Family Readiness Officer A Marine or Civilian hired for the purpose of organizing and disseminating information to both the PN and KVN networks.
OpSEC: Operational Security For our troops to remain safe, all families need to understand and abide by Operational Security.
